Trevor teaches on both the undergraduate and postgraduate PR courses at the University of Westminster where he is Visiting Professor in Public Relations. Most recently he has taught Specialist Public Relations, Public Relations in Context, Propaganda, Political Communications, Advertising and Promotional Culture and Celebrity Culture and the Media.
Trevor has also co-organised and chaired a number of high profile debates on public relations for the University of Westminster including ' The Growth of PR is Threatening the Integrity of the Press' which featured Lord Tim Bell, Chairman of Chime Communications and Prime Minister Thatcher's former PR advisor, and Nick Davies, journalist and author of the contoversial book Flat Earth News.

Trevor is also an Associate Professor at The American International University in Richmond in London. Additionally he has lectured at Exeter and City Universities and Manchester and Maastricht Business Schools. His international teaching includes the Sorbonne, Tsinghua University and John Hopkins.
